Distilling epigenetic science into a clear health story
Role: Senior UX/UI Designer
Platforms: Web and native applications
Scope: UX/UI, Data Visualisation, Content Design, Brand Guidlines
FOXO Technologies is a longevity company developing a next-generation life insurance platform that rethinks how risk, health and lifespan are understood. Using epigenetic data, the platform delivered a longevity report that translated complex science into a clear, actionable health narrative.
Approached directly to lead design on FOXO's consumer health platform, based on a reputation built at InsideTracker for translating complex science into accessible digital experiences. As Senior UX/UI Designer, I led product design for consumer-facing web and native applications built on epigenetic data and predictive health risk modelling, owning UX end-to-end. I applied UX design thinking and executed UI/UX from wireframes through to high-fidelity design and interactive prototypes, shipping production-ready interfaces across web and native.
My role was anchored in translation: turning dense epigenetic data and predictive modelling into something people could understand and trust. I translated biological age metrics, risk scores and intervention pathways into clear user insights, balancing scientific accuracy against plain-language clarity. I partnered with scientists, engineers and executive stakeholders to align product experience with regulatory, medical and commercial requirements, navigating tension between scientific rigour and consumer accessibility.

longevity report
Epigenetic technology translates molecular signals from a single saliva sample into measurable indicators of biological age and long-term health risk. I owned design of the flagship data-driven longevity report, presenting this data alongside risk scores and intervention recommendations in a report users could understand and trust.
I designed an infographic-led data visualisation system across the report, using considered visual hierarchy, progressive disclosure and narrative structure to make complex biological concepts legible at a glance. Data visualisation focused on comparison and context, supported by disciplined hierarchy, spacing and typography. Every metric was given meaning, every recommendation a clear rationale and every interaction a sense of intent.

CONTENT DESIGN
My work is grounded in clarity and user-first thinking. I translate complex themes, technical concepts and regulatory nuance into language that feels simple and intuitive. By considering context, intent and cognitive load, I write content that guides people and supports decision-making. Every word is considered for tone, meaning, flow and impact.
