Reapit is a global powerhouse for the real estate industry, providing a suite of cloud-based applications across sales, lettings, property management and trust accounting.
As Lead Designer, I owned the product language and UX direction across the portfolio, operating across multiple agile squads and engaging directly with executive, product and engineering leadership to shape strategy and technical direction. I led end-to-end UX across three core web applications, three native mobile apps and multiple responsive products and integrations, delivering consistent experiences at scale.
I architected a unified design system from the ground up in Figma, defining component libraries, design tokens, interaction standards and accessibility patterns that scaled across a fragmented product suite. I owned UX across deeply complex legacy codebases, navigating significant technical debt to ship progressive improvements without destabilising in-production systems used by thousands of global customers.
My focus was on clarity and cohesion, turning fragmented products into considered experiences. I translated business, regulatory and operational requirements into clear user flows and information architecture across CRM, transaction management and property workflows, simplifying dense enterprise processes into intuitive task-based experiences.
LEADERSHIP
Beyond the screen, I was the voice of the design system across the business. I advocated and presented to the wider organisation, demonstrating its value outside of design. I mentored designers, wrote onboarding manuals, defined file architecture and set operational workflows that kept our team aligned. I built design capability across the organisation, lifting craft standards and strengthening design culture. I was known for seeing problems before they became feedback. And, for being unapologetically obsessive over details.
DESIGN THINKING
Reapit's challenge wasn't building something new, it was making sense of years of growth across acquired products, legacy codebases and global markets. My work was grounded in systems thinking, architecting information architecture across a sprawling product ecosystem, mapping entities, user roles and feature hierarchies to rationalise navigation, taxonomy and feature discovery at scale. I designed for cross-platform consistency, resolving divergent patterns across international markets to deliver a coherent experience for agents, administrators and end users.
